FAQ
Questions, answered.
What exactly is Cece?
An AI scheduling assistant with its own email address. cc it on a thread and it agrees a time, sends the invite from your calendar, and handles changes later.
Does Cece read my inbox?
No. It only sees threads it's copied on, plus your calendar. It asks for no Gmail permissions at all. More on security.
Which email and calendar does it work with?
Google Calendar, for people on Gmail or Google Workspace. The people you meet can use any email provider. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are coming later.
Will people know they're talking to an AI?
By default its signature says it's an AI assistant, and it answers truthfully if asked. Cece never claims to be human.
What if Cece gets something wrong?
You start at "Approve all", so nothing goes out until you've seen it. Times come from a deterministic check of your calendar, and anything Cece did can be undone.
How much does it cost?
The private beta is free. See the pricing we plan to launch with.
